
The awesome Western Cape coast around Cape Town features in a video and there’s a TV advert being screened now (July/August 2016) in the UK to show off the new Citroën C4 Cactus Rip Curl Special Edition.
The special version of the SUV has added Grip Control to the C4 Cactus range and was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva auto show.
To celebrate the adventurous and fun nature of the car, the result of a collaboration between Citroën and world-famous surf brand Rip Curl, Citroën created the TV ad titled: ‘The road is your new spot’ (FYI, a surfing term for the best place to catch a wave). In this case, it seems, Cape Town.

The TV ad stars professional surfer Vincent Duvignac with music by French singer/songwriter Gaspard Royant with Duvignac floating in mid-air though a city on his board before heading for the beach.
The new traction system, Citroën tells us, enables drivers to tackle the different types of terrain encountered as part of an adventurous outdoor lifestyle, such as snow, mud and sand.
Or the beautiful mountains of the Western Cape, the Muizenberg coastal roads and the seaside road between the mountains and the False Bay ocean.
