MILAN, Italy – Fiat Chrysler will show off its next Jeep Compass at the Fuori Salone and the 56th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile here from April 4-9.
The all-new Jeep Compass is due in South African in the second half of 2017.
The Compass, Jeep says, is a key addition to its portfolio and will be highlighted on April 6, during an event in the Tortona 15 show area with the unit on display unlocked for showgoers to take a close look at its new features, described by Jeep as “a perfect blend of character, design, technology and capability in a complete package including several standard features”.
‘DISTINCTIVE ELEMENTS’
“As with every Jeep SUV,” the automaker says, ” the new Compass has signature design cues that make it clearly recognisable as a Jeep and communicate the vehicle’s off-road ability, functionality and road driving dynamics. Key design elements include the seven-slot grille, trapezoidal wheel arches, vertical windshield, short overhangs and distinctive front and rear light clusters.”

The cabin also has “distinctive elements” that define a Jeep. “These include,” the automaker says, “a functional layout and storage for items suited for active lifestyles, a centre console with a strong design theme and crisp lines providing sculptural shapes to the connecting surfaces.”.

Visitors of the Fuori Salone 2017 will be among the first in Italy to discover the new Jeep Compass and its authentic Jeep design cues, before its arrival in European dealerships this summer.
The all-new Jeep Compass will be in showrooms in Europe mid-year, in South Africa during the second half of 2017. You can read more about the SUV here.
