TAORMINA, Italy – Ducati’s Multistrada 1200 S and Multistrada 1200 Enduro have now officially joined Italy’s Carabinieri Corps’ fleet with their debut at the 2017 G7 summit here over May 26/27.
The two units are intended to strengthen the emergency and territorial control services of the operative squads in the nation’s biggest cities, starting with Rome and Milan, and began operating at an event of global significance.
ALL SET, WITH LIGHTS AND SIRENS
The Multistrada 1200 S and Multistrada 1200 Enduro have been specifically fitted for the purpose and liveried with the corps’ colours and logo.
Production units will be equipped with specific acoustic (sirens, etc! – Ed) and emergency lights as well as radio communication.
They were also modified to fit the corps’ weaponry.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holdings, said at the presentation:
