JOHANNESBURG, Gauteng – Automaker Lexus as unveiedl a uniquely-painted LFA to celebrate the debut of its RC F GT3 contender in the 24 Hours of Spa endurance race.

”The reveal will also mark the 10th anniversary of the Lexus ‘F’ performance brand,” the automaker says, ”and showcase the brand’s passion and dedication to creativity and design.”

The paint job was designed by Portuguese artist Pedro Henriques, the man who transformed the supercar’s exterior with a striking black-and-white theme.

His design is said to unite the lines of the Lexus LFA V10 supercar with a flowing pattern that is said to ”express the feeling of movement and constant evolution”.

Henriques said: “The lines in the drawings follow a feeling of going everywhere and never stopping. I hope to express a feeling where the car becomes a less-defined shape, one in constant mutation in its movement.”

GOING ON PARADE

The Emil Frey Lexus Racing team will race two Lexus RC F GT3 coupes in the 70th 24 Hours of Spa, said to be the toughest race in the Blancpain GT Series championship.
