- 1000kg capacity – with overload warning
- Two, three, or five seating configuration
- …and all-wheel drive for country customers

JOHANNESBURG, Gauteng – All-new van, the Opel Combo, will reach South Africa in March 2019 already adorned with the 2019 International Van of the Year trophy.
Each model, Opel says, has its own personality but each shares in practicality.
After unveiling the family-orientated Opel Combo Life recently, the PSA Group subsequently also introduced its load-bearing counterpart – the Opel Combo Cargo, an award-winning light commercial vehicle.
TWO LENGTHS, BUT ONE-TONNER
The Combo Life, however, has been described as ”the family’s best friend” thanks to a spacious cabin and excellent seating adjustment for the five or seven seats along with a choice of one or two sliding side doors.
There’s also a choice of length: 4.40 or 4.75m.

Jarlath Sweeney, chairman of the IVOTY jury, is said to have described the new Opel line-up as “the most significant small panel-van in years”. He added: ”The Combo is well future-proofed and packed with tech driving advancements – one of them a ”you’re overloaded” alert. Max load is listed as 1000kg.
Good news for South African country customers is the option of all-wheel drive; they can also be configured for two, three or five seats.
