Going electric? Really? Then read this UK failure feature

LONDON, England – Louise Atkinson’s sorry diary of nightmare journeys, dud chargers, and maddening bureaucracy has resulted in this: ”Electric cars? They’re shockingly BAD!”

so she leased a Renault Zoe which claims to have a range of 160 miles. She found the charging situation ”a nightmare” and found charging at home difficult.

READ HER driving feature in the London Daily Mail here.

Any South African battery-car owners out there care to comment, for or against? email thecarmanza@gmail.com.

PS: The name Zoe, in Greek, means ”life”. Something the Renault is finding difficult to maintain.
