GENEVA, Switzerland – Mazda has revealed the second model in its new generation lineup, the CX-30 compact crossover SUV, at the 2019 international auto show here.
It’s described as ”a new core model that sits between the CX-3 and CX-5 and it will arrive in South Africa in the first quarter of 2020”.
The CX-3 and CX-5 will, however, continue to grace South African auto showrooms.
The CX-30 is described by its maker thus: ”It’s a new compact crossover that combines the bold proportions of an SUV with elegant styling that embodies Mazda’s Kodo design language.
”The development team hoped to create a car that would enrich customers’ lives by helping them and their loved ones to make new and stimulating discoveries within their daily lives.”
Relaxed and user-friendly packaging, it adds, along with four seats, means customers can easily enjoy trips to any destination with family and friends.
Moreover, the CX-30 was designed to be easy to drive with a higher view of the road and a compact shell that will be easy to manage on today’s crowded roads and in tight-fit public garages.
The cars’ stance – higher than a conventional car – it said to provide excellent visibility and easy entry and exit.
