BAKU, Azerbaijan – Valtteri Bottas has a score to settle as he heads into Sunday’s Azerbaijan F1 GP Grand Prix hoping to wrest the championship lead away from Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
A year earlier a puncture three laps from the end gave Hamilton the win and who, Reuters reports, went on to win 10 more races on his way to a fifth title.
Bottas won nothing.

This year, already behind Hamilton by six points with 18 GP’s left, he said: “I would prefer to be leading. If I keep performing well I can turn it around and that’s the goal for Baku.”
The Finn started on pole two weeks ago in Shanghai but Hamilton dropped him off the line.
