ATLANTA, Georgia – The 2020 Porsche Cayenne S Coupe is now available to order in a number of markets with the same 2.9-litre, twin-turbo, V6 engine as the standard Cayenne S that makes 324kW from 5700-6600rpm and 550Nm from 1800-5500rpm.
Power reaches all wheels through an eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission and Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive.
From standstill, the new model is capable of reaching 100km in 4.7sec with the standard Sport Chrono package or 4.6sec with any of the optional light sport packages. Top track speed is about 262km/h..
The highlights of the Coupe, Porsche says, include a roof 20mm lower than the standard model and a more-raked windscreen and rear window. The body is described as ”having sharper proportions and a wider track”.
The new shell includes a fixed spoiler that sits above the rear window and an adaptive rear spoiler that extends by 135mm above 100km/h.
The Cayenne S Coupe has upgraded standard equipment over the standard Cayenne S: in addition to the Sport Chrono package come 20” alloy wheels, eight-way adjustable sport seats, a fixed sunroof and a 2+2 seating layout – though a three-seat rear bench is available at no extra cost.
The rear accommodation is slightly lower than other models to accommodate the lower roof.
As with the other Cayenne Coupe models, Porsche is also offering three optional light sport packages that add sporty shell modifications in a variety of materials and colours.
The packages also include a carbon-fibre roof and 22” GT Design wheels.
