SEOUL, South Korea – Kia Motors has today an interior sketch of the cabin planned for its all-new small sport utility vehicle due for launch later this year.
The automaker says the cabin is trimmed in high-quality materials throughout, the expansive shapes and ”the technical forms of the cabin create a youthful and luxurious vibe”.
Design details, Kia says, include metallic highlights in the air vents and the facia and cabin presents a modern ambience. If venturing off-road the front passenger will appreciate the grab-bar on the centre console.
MOOD LIGHTING, TOO
The facia also carries a 26cm touchscreen with satnav and a number of features while the floor-mounted centre console carries ventilation and aircon controls.
Mood lighting can be adjusted to, well, suit the mood.
Byung Chul Juh, Kia’s head of styling, told The Corner in a media release: “We’ve focused on designing a cabin unlike those in any other small SUV with a greater sense of depth and richness.”
