- Coupé-like European design for Kia’s new crossover
- Sportier design – space for people and luggage
- Kia XCeed to be unveiled on June 26 2019

FRANKFURT, Germany – Kia Motors has released the first image of the new Kia XCeed urban crossover due to be revealed soon, describing it as ”stylish, expressive and modern in design and representing a new crossover utility vehicle (CUV) as a sporty alternative to traditional larger SUV’s”.
The car’s coupé-like silhouette is said to be a product of the brand’s European design centre in Frankfurt, Germany, and was designed under the direction of Gregory Guillaume, design VP for Kia Europe.
Media information from Kia reports: ”The combination of its elevated ride height and lower hip-point give the car a sportier driving position than a traditional SUV.
”Its raised driving position offers a clearer view of the road than a conventional family hatchback.”
‘SPORTIER DESIGN, MORE DESIRABLE’
The automaker adds that the newbie will have interior space and luggage capacity ”comparable to Europe’s best-selling SUVs”.
