
JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Motors SA is again supplying a brand-new Kia Picanto Street model – retail price R162 000 – as the main prize in a Beeld Children’s Fund annual fund-raising raffle.
This year’s competition was announced (June 2019) at Kia Motors Edenvale with representatives from Kia and the Beeld Children’s Fund and partner RSG, in attendance… the second ‘time the auto company has supplied the main prize.
Which can be won by making a donation of only R50 (see below).
MILLION BUCKS RAISED IN 2017
The project is the fund’s largest annual fund-raising initiative. It will run until November 2019 and the money raised through the raffle and other events will be distributed to a number of child-welfare organisations.
The 2018 raffle raised nearly R1-million.

There are a number of ways through which you can make a donation: a direct deposit into the Beeld Children’s Fund’s bank account, use Snapscan, or via SMS…
- To donate R50 per SMS simply send the keyword KINDERS to 48546. You will receive a message in reply asking you to confirm that you wish to make the donation of R50. Once confirmed, you will receive another SMS to confirm that your donation has been received.
To donate via direct deposit, simply deposit R50 – or multiples thereof! – into the Beeld Children’s Fund bank account: ABSA account number 2840157329, branch code 632005. Please use your mobile number, name and surname, as a deposit reference. Donations will be confirmed by the fund within 24 hours.
