JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – IMI has opened a motorcycle service centre at its new home in Maserati House, Bryanston, in Jozi’s northern suburbs.
Service director Paul Richardson told The Corner: ”The facility is has a full range of diagnostic and technical servicing equipment and we’re open for business.
“Our dealer management system for parts ordering and management is in place and we have the first shipment of parts and oils. We’ve already serviced a number of Moto Guzzis and the first Aprilia RSV4.”
‘WE KNOW THE PASSION…’
RIchardson has joined IMI after a successful career at the head of a property development group but is also an avid rider, National Junior BMX champion, and an international BMX contender.
“As a biker and member of an Italian Motorcycle Club I know how passionate people are about their bikes. We are, too, and hope to give the best possible service to Aprilia and Guzzi owners.”
Continuing, Paul explains that IMI has recruited several specialist technicians who will support him, both in servicing new bikes and in helping owners of older Italian bikes with services, repairs and fault finding.
- IMI has secured an uninterrupted supply of parts and components, diagnostic equipment and software and has global support for warranty claims or global service/recall campaigns.
