ROME, Italy – The Ferrari Roma has been revealed during a dedicated client event held here in Italy’s iconic capital.
The new mid-front engined 2+2 coupé is said to have refined proportions and timeless design ”combined with unparalleled performance and handling”.
The automaker told The Corner in a media release: ”The Ferrari Roma is not only an icon of Italian design but also represents the pinnacle of performance in its category.”
That, Ferrari adds, is thanks to its turbo-charged V8 from the family of engines that has won the overall International Engine of the Year award for four consecutive years.
In this version, we’re told, the engine reaches 456kW at 7500rpm and is coupled with a new eight-speed DCT gearbox that was introduced on the SF90 Stradale.
PLEASURE IN LIFE
”With its distinctive flair and style,” Ferrari says, ”the car is a contemporary representation of the carefree and pleasurable way of life that characterised Rome in the 1950s and 1960s.
”The Ferrari Roma offers discerning clients the finesse and refinement that bring the concept of la Dolce Vita right up to date.”
