- KIA Carnival premium to sell in India
DELHI, India – KIA Motors subsidiary in India has unveiled a Sonet compact SUV at Auto Expo 2020 India to be further developed ahead of its scheduled launch in India in the second half of 2020.
It certainly ticks all The Corner’s boxes.
The Korean automaker says this the third product offering from KIA Motors in India, following the introduction of the Carnival MPV (Grand Sedona in SA) in February 2020.
The cute little buggy – cars KIA does so well – is intended to appeal to lifestyle techies.
KIA says the car has ”several first-in-class features”. Among them are ”head-turning” looks that include the signature KIA tiger’s nose grille, daytime running lights and wide rear signature lighting.
The cabin is tuned for the modern social media set: 26cm infotainment and navigation system with UVO Connect, a Bose premium audio system, and an ”intelligent” manual transmission.
The cabin is described as ”best-in-class” with ”first-in-class” passenger space and features.
”The Sonet,” KIA says, is a testament to KIA’s focus on consumer insight-driven product innovation and orientation. It previews a future compact SUV, due to launch (in India) in the second half of 2020.”
