HOLLYWOOD, California – Hyundai Motor has released the first images of its 2021 Elantra – the seventh generation of the range.
The South Korean automaker describes it as having ”an edgy and aggressive look based on parametric shapes and textures, to reflect Hyundai’s future identity that will be displayed on March 17 2020 at The Lot Studios in West Hollywood,
The event will be live-streamed around the world but for now take a quick look at a video and teaser images of the car.
”The all-new 2021 Elantra’s design,” Hyundai says, ”accentuates its progressive and exotic character through cutting-edge engineering solutions and design innovations – a polyhedral appearance. Advanced digital design technology brought the design to life.
”Having three lines meet at one point is the main element of ‘parametric dynamics’. This formation is a daring challenge so far avoided in car design.”
The cabin is described as an ”immersive cocoon” wit a driver-focused user experience. Low and wide structures go from the door and connect all the way to the centre console while the large interface – two harmoniously integrated displays – elevates the racing-inspired feel of the car.”
