JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – The Land Cruiser Namib edition was introduced to the South African market in Q3 of 2019, distinguished by an accessory package and aesthetic enhancements.
For our overseas readers, the name is a celebration of the Namib great sandy desert north-west of South Africa.

Toyota SA says the SA-specific model was ”exceptionally well-received”- all 60 units had been delivered by January 2020 – so the automaker has commissioned a re-run of the project and added a single-cab derivative.
