JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Citroën SA has launched an online reservation ”experience” that, the automaker says, will deliver a comfortable experience to customers adjusting to the Covid-generated ‘New Normal’.
The brand has created a new reservation platform to cover the most popular vehicles in Citroën’s South African catalogue through which potential customers can configure their ideal car to its final specification then reserve one – a C3, C3 Aircross SUV and C5 Aircross SUV.

The deal will involve only vehicles in stock but Citroën SA wants to make each customer’s live easier with a deal that includes a five-year or 100 000km* service and warranty package so owners can have peace-of-mind. about servicing costs.
”Social distancing and sanitisation,” The Corner was told, ”will be used during delivery at its buyer’s home and, if necessary, the vehicle’s features will be explained.”

Delivery will include disinfecting of the steering-wheel, gear-shifter, switches, driving seat, and floor-mat and the delivery driver will be wear gloves and a face mask but the customer will be asked to let three hours pass to allow the measures to take full effect before driving their new vehicle.”
