SEOUL, South Korea – Hyundai America has released a design rendering of the new Elantra sport sedan and revealed other details about the new performance-inspired offering that’s on the way to the brand’s US showrooms.
Hyundai’s all-new Elantra range is described by the automaker as having low and wide styling ”expressed on the fascia by an edgy N Line version of Hyundai’s signature cascading grille, N Line badging and motorsport-inspired air intake”.
N Line skirts and 18” alloy wheel rims with larger brakes feature, too.
The external mirrors, N Line window accents and skirts are all finished in the N brand signature gloss black and the cars’ tail has introduced low and wide styling, twin exhausts, and a rear diffuser.
Thomas Schemera, head of product at #Hyundai Motor Group, added: “The Elantra N Line has a more assertive #design that incorporates the N Line signature red accents inside and out at an attractive price.
”It will definitely satisfy those who are looking to join the #Hyundai N community.”
With its well-established Elantra nameplate – now in its seventh iteration – #Hyundai says it expects the #elantranline to provide an attractive entry point for the N Brand as it gains popularity with drivers and performance enthusiasts around the world.
The N badge is already on the Veloster, i30 and i30 Fastback as well as several N Line models in some markets.
”The N models,” the automaker told The Corner in a media release, ”bring full performance capability to daily driving while N Line trim add performance-inspired elements to base-model vehicles.”
