SILVERSTONE, England – A half-built hotel and empty stands were the backdrop to Sunday’s no-fans British F1 GP but Silverstone circuit boss Stuart Pringle is hoping for a full house in 2021.
Reuters reported that Pringle told the news agency ”the piggy bank is nearly dry”.
For the first time since Silverstone hosted the first UK GP in 1950, the race went ahead with no spectators thanks to the CoVid ”epidemic”.
