Hamilton dozes to win at 2020 Spanish F1 GP

BARCELONA Spain – Lewis Hamilton cruised through the 2020 Spanish F1 GP on Sunday to take the flag for a fourth consecutive year and rack up his 156th podium finish.
He now leads the champions ship by 37 points.

He started the race from pole position and lapped all but three drivers so is now only three wins short of Ferrari Michael Schumacher’s record 91.

‘ZONED OUT’

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, was second, Valtteri Bottas third for Mercedes.

“I was in a different zone… I didn’t even realise it was the last lap,” Hamilton said after finishing 24.177sec ahead of Verstappen.

“I was just in a daze out there.. I was ready to keep going.”
