JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Got next year’s desk diary yet? The Kyalami Festival of Motoring will be held at the Kyalami racing circuit from August 26-29 2021.
Event organiser Messe Frankfurt South Africa says it is ”supercharged” for the fifth annual motoring celebration.
The event, The Corner was told, will focus on the achievements of the industry and highlight innovation and aspiration for the youth of SA.

”The content and marketing of the festival,” the organisers say, ”will revolve around these three elements. The core of the event remains the experiential platform provided for original equipment suppliers to demonstrate products and services.
The event will also include five National motorsport events, an electric vehicle village, a revamped 4×4 village, and a gaming arcade though there will also be a ”social investment” programme involving a charity drive.
‘…A GOLDEN THREAD’
The show’s Melissa Bender added.”We’re ready to roll out our extensive marketing campaign to maintain momentum for 2021. We’re also excited to start the campaign with a fully-responsive website allowing visitors and exhibitors to remain up-to-date with developments.
”Targeting and positioning will weave a golden thread through the plan… the festival must build and maintain brand value for our participants.”
‘ONE-STOP FEAST’
Show director Judy Maharaj says she has ”a re-invention strategy” for participants to meet realities the industry is facing. “Balanced participation is needed from OEMs for the festival to be truly representative of the industry.
”Visitors will expect a one-stop motoring feast backed by premium motortainment – we intend to provide that.”
“CoVid has been an unfortunate setback but, we’re optimistic and excited to celebrate the evolution of the festival – 2021 will be the fifth.”
