Watch Nürburgring 24-Hour as you have never before

PORT ELIZABETH, South Africa – Immersive, intensive, interactive! Why not feel the excitement and take a look behind the scenes with Audi Sport and SA-born motorsport driver Kelvin van der Linde at the Nürburgring 24-hour?

Audi Sport customer racing is offering fans of the 24-Hour race a digital experience from the Eifel region through September 25-27 under the motto ‘Your driving seat on the web”Motorsport enthusiasts can follow the brand’s performance in detail throughout the weekend.

”Fans will be able to follow the race from their favourite armchair in a way never before done,” says Audi. ”Through a wide variety of stories and backgrounds, live channels, a great studio show, and interactive elements they can immerse themselves in motorsport like never before.

”A livestream, including live timing from the qualifying rounds, and the entire race will be included.”

Video cameras in the Audi R8 LMS cars used by Audi Sport drivers (vehicle numbers #1, #3 and #29) will stream a unique view of the cockpit as telemetry data and other driving information complete the live experience. Radio Le Mans presenter John Hindhaugh will guide the studio broadcasts helped by two former drivers: Frank Biela (five Le Mans wins) and Allan McNish (two wins).

Audi added: ”The digital platform will also invite visitors to get to know the environment and background of the race and the appearance of Audi Sport in detail.

”Many interactive elements will allow fans to move through the weekend in various ways and to get involved themselves. Effective immediately, Audi Sport’s digital platform can be accessed here.
