
JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Mahindra SA believes it has a reliable, capable, affordable solution for tourist operations as guests are welcomed back to South Africa’s lush bush country.
The automaker says its S4 Pik Up Game Viewer has a full manufacturer ‘s warranty, features suited to game farms and tour operators and includes 4×4 drives. Customisation is possible.

The vehicles, The Corner was told, have a 1195kg payload, a 3040mm wheelbase, and 210mm ground clearance which the automakers believes are “ideal” for rugged African bushveld even with 10 people aboard.
TURBODIESEL POWER
The standard model comes with an open cabin, folding windscreen, rubberised weatherproof interior, and access from either side, canvas upholstery, and a high roof that doubles as a heavy-duty roll cage. There’s also a list of possible modifications.
Motive power comes from an mHawk 2.2 litre turbodiesel capable of 103kW/320 Nm, the latter from 1500rpm, and driving through a six-speed manual transmission. All units with have a locking differential.
The engine and vehicle are covered by a four-year or 120 000km* mechanical warranty. A service plan is an option.
