CAPE TOWN – Alfa Romeo’s Giulia has for the fifth time won Auto Motor und Sport magazine readers’ ‘Best Car’ award in the middle-class/import category. It’s the car’s fifth win in six years and for 2022 there were about 100 000 reader participants – of which 18.8% was pro-Alfa.

”The Giulia’s trophy collection,” Alfa says, ”continues to grow with this win in ‘Best Cars 2022’. The sporty sedan has, In recent years, won the internationally-renowned Red Dot Award design prize and other reader competitions based in Germany, the US, Britain and Italy.”

It was Auto Motor und Sport’s 46th ‘Best Cars’ competition – this year with the magazine asking readers to vote from 386 current models in 12 categories, which included imports – in their categories.
