JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Suzuki Auto SA has applauded its dealer network for again setting an overall sales record in April 2022.
The company reported 3696 new-vehicle deliveries to South African customers and a further five to regional buyers – the most yet and the fourth consecutive month of record sales.
Naamsa – the industry’s business council – also reported that its Suzuki Swift was South Africa’s best-selling passenger vehicle through April. Suzuki dealers and its corporate and rental sales team sold a combined 1621 Swift units, nearly 100 more than any other brand and model.

Suzuki SA says it is now entrenched as third in overall sales, behind Toyota (including Lexus and Hino) and VW (including Audi).
Further fleet sales are, the auto company says, “in the pipeline”.
